The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. This new platform powers a more comprehensive, responsive site that supports the Association’s focus on serving their constituents.

The project began with a creative strategy and design session as well as a full technical definition effort. Out of this initial discovery came the complete website build. BlueKey, BlueModus, and the Alzheimer’s Association teams collaborated closely through each step of the process, with BlueKey contributing digital strategy, information architecture, content consulting, and design work, BlueModus providing a full technical Kentico implementation, and the Alzheimer’s team supporting both agencies throughout the project.

This implementation features components that provide continued quality service for the diverse variety of audiences that are served by the website. In addition to the Alzheimer’s Association primary site, the organization had more than 75 different local chapter sites that were also built on Kentico. Each chapter follows the same basic structure while allowing unique content and sub-pages. Additionally, a mirror site was developed for Spanish-speaking audiences.
The technical solution for the new site features multiple complex integrations, including an extensive chapter/location search tool, as well as a content migration system that crawled over 5,000 pages from their previous site. The Kentico solution also provides a role and permission scheme which allows proper content management access to editors of both the national and chapter sites within the same platform.
